Profile

Huisman (1929) is a family-owned company that is known for building innovative cranes for lifting operations in the rugged offshore environment. Our vision is to improve the industry standards with our innovative solutions and service levels and to keep challenging our environment to take innovation and safety to the next level. We believe that being the best employer will contribute to sustainable growth and translate to happy clients with whom we have long term, trustful relationships.

In offshore wind, Huisman is known for the lifting solutions we have supplied to the market in recent years. The most recent contracts are for the delivery of a 1,600mt leg-encircling crane as replacement crane for Fred Olsen’s jackup, a 1,600mt crane for Penta Ocean and a 3000mt crane for Jan de Nul’s Voltaire as well as a 5000mt crane for their Les Alizés. Huisman tailors the designs of most of it’s cranes and products according to the requirements of the clients or to the needs of the bussiness case of the client. This cooperation provides the most optimal results for the parties involved.

Experience in Taiwan

As Taiwan works towards developing a domestic supply chain, Huisman's approach will be even more applicable for the Taiwan market. Receiving the contract award for the supply of 4000mt offshore mast crane for the Green Jade of CSBC is a first major step in creating the local supply chain. In addition to the installation cranes, Huisman also provides tools to make the process more efficient and safe. Equipment to think about are integrated or standalone lifting tools, piling frames, cable lay systems or personal transfer and access solutions (SMST). In the challenging environment Taiwan presents, these tools can make the difference.
