From October 28 to 31, a large delegation of Dutch offshore wind companies participated in the ACP 2024 in Atlantic City (USA). The participation consisted of 16 companies from the entire supply chain, all of whom participated in the joint Netherlands Lounge. The NL Lounge was once again organized by Holland Home of Wind Energy (HHWE), the Consulate General in New York (CGNY) and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO/ICEP).

Although this year's fair was smaller than previous years, a conscious choice was made for a more focused and qualitative approach, with an emphasis on building strategic relationships rather than mass presence. The fair and the ACP conference were well attended by a varied international audience, providing excellent opportunities to further build networks and make new contacts with (American) stakeholders.

The day prior to the ACP, the CG-NY organized a K2K session (Knowledge to Knowledge) together with Deltares, HHWE and RVO/ICEP on the topic of 'Transmission Grid and Offshore Wind'. An important topic in the US because of problems surrounding the electricity grid, which, just like in the Netherlands, suffers from overload and overdue maintenance. There was great interest from the American side in participating in this event, who were all very pleased with the knowledge exchanged and the opportunity for networking with the Dutch companies present.

Participants of the Dutch delegation: Boskalis, CAPE Holland, C-Job Naval Architects, GustoMSC, iPS Powerful People, Lobster Robotics, MARIN, Osbit, Reynard High Voltage Solutions, IHC Offshore Energy, Seaway7, Smulders, TME, Trelleborg Ridderkerk en Vuyk Engineering.
