The Baltic states hold an impressive potential for offshore wind energy development and could install more than 20GW of production capacity by 2050, aiming to have up to 4GW installed by 2030. This is far beyond the internal demand and a significant share of this energy could be converted into green hydrogen, which also could offer great business opportunities for the Dutch private sector.

In order to learn more on the emerging opportunities in the offshore wind and green hydrogen economies in the Baltic states, the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) together with the Regional Business Development and the Netherlands Embassies in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania have commissioned two market studies pointing out business opportunities for the Dutch companies in the Baltic countries.

We invite you to join us for a webinar on 26 June at 14-16 (Dutch time), to learn on the outcomes of the two market studies carried out by Pondera Consult.

The first part of the seminar will give an overview of the business opportunities in offshore wind energy sector and the second part will concentrate on the Baltic hydrogen economy and opportunities there.
During the webinar you will also be informed about a Dutch programme called Partners in International Business as there is an application for the offshore wind energy in the Baltic States currently being prepared.
