Poland is planning to build 5.9 GW offshore wind capacity before 2030, and one of the most severe challenges is the shortage in professionals with the right skillset and experience to develop and later operate the offshore wind industry. Training and education of the workforce are paramount to accelerate the growth of the sector on the long term. The cluster companies of Linkedbyoffshorewind are also recognising this as one of the most prominent issues and is organising a mission to the Edu-conference in Gdansk dedicated to this topic.

As a part of the mission, the Dutch delegation will visit the wind conference in Gdansk that brings together the Polish wind sector stakeholders (approximately 350 participants are expected).

Mission participants will receive invitations to a welcome dinner and a gala dinner on the second day. Also, we will arrange a company visit and tour to the port of Gdynia to inform participants about the latest offshore wind developments in this location.

The package exclusively for Dutch companies includes:

• Meeting Polish representatives of local government authorities and offshore wind stakeholders

• Welcome dinner organized the day before the official opening of the fair

• Individual B2B meetings organized especially for mission participants

• Participating in networking gala after matchmaking session

• Possibility to visit the Port of Gdynia
