Export Finance for Future (E3F)

November 24th, 2021

12.30 – 16.45 CET

Hosted from the World Forum, the Hague

Tune in for the second E3F Summit, hosted by the Netherlands, to participate in the discussion on greening of export finance to make it fit for the future.

At the crossroads between public and private sectors, export finance can play a key role in reorienting investments patterns and catalyse private investments towards low-carbon, climate resilient projects.

The governments of Denmark, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom jointly launched the E3F coalition last April. The coalition members adhere to a set of principles to integrate climate policy objectives in public export finance. Please find the first E3F Statement of Principles here.

During the Summit in the closed ministerial discussion, the coalition members will discuss the role of official trade and export finance in the green transition. Dutch State Secretary for Finance Hans Vijlbrief will present the key take aways of the ministerial discussion.

Confirmed speakers are:

  • Astrid Bronswijk, Head of Export Finance and Investment Guarantees, Ministry of Finance, the Netherlands.

  • Peder Lundquist, CEO of EKF, Denmark.

  • Laura Cozzi, Chief Energy Modeller of the International Energy Agency.
